The last few days have been really rough and frustrating for me. Situations have occurred that I have no control over, but they have made me angry and frustrated. Because of these events, my mind is in a blur with worry and I don’t feel like I can focus or concentrate on things that are important. After meditating and recognizing when my body shifts to that anger, I have only come to one solution: Let go of all the worries I have over something that I have no control over. This doesn’t mean that I ignore it, but instead of paralyzing myself with worry, I can deal with these unfortunate events head on and rationally. Holding on to that negativity is not solving my problems. It’s causing stress, which in turn can lead to other health issues. Worrying doesn’t solve my problems faster or give me the outcomes I think I deserve.
We all have these moments of stress over things that are beyond our control. I say LET IT GO. Go to a place of calm and you will find that your head is clearer to work through it. There is no need to suffer when we don’t have to. Can you still be angry? Sure, why not? But don’t let that anger consume you. A little frustration and anger can give you that adrenaline that will help you through this situation. With a little practice this gets a lot easier to do.
